The light in the late afternoon. The scent of wild herbs after rain. The way people here gather around a table and simply don't want to leave. These things have always felt ordinary to me — and yet, I've watched them stop guests from around the world completely in their tracks.
My name is Cathleen. I'm a destination wedding planner based in Nice, and since 2019, I've been helping international couples create celebrations in the South of France that feel as beautiful as they imagined — and more personal than they thought possible.
What I do goes beyond logistics. It's about understanding who you are as a couple, what you want to feel, and how to translate all of that into a multi-day experience that's entirely, unmistakably yours.

A Southern soul, through and through
What inspires me about the South of France isn't the glamour. It's something quieter — the warmth, the generosity, the way people here slow down and stay at the table a little longer.
Outside of weddings, you'll most likely find me in my garden. I discovered a deep love of growing things during lockdown and never looked back. My very first couple gifted me a full gardener's kit after our wedding together. I still use it.
Another passion of mine: water. There's something about being on a boat, with the Côte d'Azur coastline behind you and nothing ahead but open sea, that puts everything in perspective.
And then there are the animals. Five dogs, two cats, and a turtle. Family first, always. I find real joy in gathering people together, making sure everyone feels at home, and creating moments that linger long after the evening ends — which, when I think about it, is exactly what I do for a living.
